Crazy Boys

Caleb just couldn't chose which hat to wear...so he decided to wear them ALL! He is also this way when it comes to eating cereal, he doesn't want to chose just one, so he mixes them all together! Sounds icky to me, but he seems to like it. It reminds me of how my grandpa would mix his food together. I would tell him that it looked yucky and he would tell me that it all gets mixed together after you eat it anyway! The one thing Caleb doesn't like mixed together is his play-doh. He wants all the colors kept separate. Makes sense to me. Guess what the first thing is that Levi does?! Levi is great at adding a little bit of each color and making brown; and he is quite pleased with himself when he is finished! I sure love my sweet boys and their craziness!

A DECADE!

On February 20th Ashley finally hit the double digits! That's right....my Jo-Jo Bug has turned 10 (even though it seems like just yesterday that she was born)! Ashley thought it was really cool that she was going to be a decade old, so I called the radio station and they announced it to the Valley. Then she and I went on a breakfast date before school. Ashley is a sweet, compassionate, loving girl who has many special talents. She loves to sing, dance, draw, play games, and read. She is an amazing big sister to her brothers and we all love her very, very much!!

Fondue Anyone?

On Christmas Day night, we started our tradition of fondue dessert. (It was supposed start on Christmas Eve, but we forgot!) The kids had a great time dipping strawberries, bananas, and angel food cake in the yummy chocolate mixture. I was so busy trying to keep the chocolate in the vicinity of the table that I didn't get any other pictures taken. I'm sure, though, you can imagine the aftermath of the event! This would be the reason we'll only be doing it once a year! Also, please notice the lovely bruised bump on Levi's forehead. I don't think I ever got the full story on that one. As I recall, it had something to do with his brother and the stairs....hmmm.....

Goodies for Santa

A few weeks before Christmas while shopping at the mall, we ran into Santa.....literally! The older kids and I were trying to convince Levi to go talk to Santa, and when we turned around he was right behind us! He talked to each of the kids about how much they had grown in the last year, and about the things they like to do for fun. He also sang "Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer" with us! We asked Santa what he would like for a snack Christmas Eve, and he confided in us that he was tired of cookies and would like cold pizza. We, of course, were happy to oblige that Jolly old Fellow! Here is the nice note Ashley left for Santa, along with some treats for the reindeer.

Christmas Eve 2007

I finally downloaded my pictures from Christmas. Here's Ashley (9), Caleb (8), and Levi (3) in their new jammies on Christmas Eve. I have always loved penguins, and this has rubbed off on the boys...especially Caleb. The boys' jammies have a penguin on them (for Caleb) and the words "Chill Out" (for Levi!!). In all honesty, they are great kids. Levi is just going through the "I'm independent and can do it by myself; or I can yell and scream and freak out about it" stage. It's been very entertaining at times, and the older kids and I have had to stifle our giggles. They had a fun Christmas and really enjoyed all their gifts.

Welcome To Our Life!

Hello!
Since it seems to be so difficult for me to keep in touch with everyone, write in a journal, or keep up on my scrapbooking, I've decided to start a blog. This will give you a peek at the life of three and me....Ashley, Caleb, Levi....and Ali :o) Hopefully this will be fun, informative, and not too embarrassing! Please check back....there will be more to come soon!
